Frequently asked questions

The prayer times are a few minutes different from my mosque.

Mosques use different calculation methods. Open Prayer Times › Settings and choose the method your mosque uses, and Hanafi or Standard for Asr. You can also adjust the Hijri date by a day.

I don't hear the azan.

Turn off silent mode, allow notifications for Quran Rahma in iOS Settings, and check that the bell next to the prayer shows the speaker (Azan). iOS plays the first 30 seconds of a notification sound.

The Qibla compass points the wrong way.

Move your phone in a figure 8 to calibrate the compass, keep it flat and away from metal and magnets. You can also use the Map view, which does not need the compass.

Can I listen without internet?

Yes. Go to Offline Audio, pick a reciter and download the surahs you want. The Quran text, translation you chose, prayer times and Qibla all work offline.

How do I get the IndoPak script?

Please write to us with the surah and ayah. The Arabic text comes from the verified Tanzil text and is never edited by us, so we check every report carefully.

How do I cancel a subscription?

iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Quran Rahma. Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid the next charge.
